Education Background:
Trained to be a doctor at the University of Dundee. Following this undertook a medical rotation in James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough before going to New Zealand to work in Paediatrics for a period of time.
Subsequently went on to undertake training with the Northumbria Vocational Training Scheme to qualify as a general practitioner.
