You can book appointments with the doctors & Nurses using one of the following methods:

1. Online: Book your Appointment via this website.
2. By Telephone: Please call us on your surgery telephone number and tell the receptionist.
3. In Person: Call into your surgery and let the receptionist know in person.

The telephone lines open at 8.00am, the receptionist will be able arrange a date and time for you to attend.

Wellway Medical Group operate a managed appointments system to meet the needs of patients at their main surgery in Morpeth and branch surgeries in Pegswood, Lynemouth and Newbiggin. The system is reviewed on a weekly basis thus ensuring an efficient service.

We try to make sure you see a doctor of your choice, but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor. Urgent same day appointments are available with a Doctor or Nurse.

Patients requesting advice will have their telephone number and details taken by the receptionist and a return call made by the appropriate person.

Cancelling an Appointment:

If you arrive late for an appointment, the receptionist will inform the Doctor or Nurse you are seeing and will endeavour to fit you in, although you may have to wait to the end of the surgery. If this is not convenient you may need to make another appointment.
