In 1999 Wellway Medical Group were one of the country's first ever medical practices to achieve the prestigious Investors in People (IIP) award- the quality standard that recognises an organisation's commitment to training and staff development. In June 2003 the practice was re-assessed against the standard and was once again successful.
Wellway Medical Group has recently become the first medical practice in Northumberland to successfully achieve two post recognition reviews of the prestigious Investors in People Award. Wellway Medical Group have been committed to Investors in People for the past 4 years and everyone concerned with the organisation are convinced of the benefits to the patient of the ongoing training development of the doctors and staff.
